Exciting news for NCIS fans as a new spin off gets two-part pilot...
It's been a long time since Scott Bakula Quantum Leaped his way through our television schedules as Dr. Sam Beckett but he is now back in the big time in the NCIS spin off coming from creator Gary Glasberg and Executive Producer and star of the original Mark Harmon.

Bakula will play NCIS Special Agent Pride, who embodies New Orleans. He's driven by the need to do what's right and does it all with warmth, passion, strength and humor. The character is a unique federal agent working in one of the country's most unique cities. Joining Bakula in New Orleans will be Zoe McLellan, from JAG the show that started it all, originally shown on Bravo in the UK many years ago. McLellan will play Special Agent Brody.

Set to air in the spring, the two-part planted pilot centers on the NCIS New Orleans office, which handles cases from Pensacola through Mississippi and Louisiana to the Texas panhandle. New Orleans, with its rich setting of music, fun and debauchery is a magnet for military personnel on leave -- and with fun comes trouble.
